Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

We're ordering in Chipotle for lunch, which is making me laugh and laugh. My stomach actually thinks it sounds *good* (which stands to reason, since I haven't eaten much since lunch yesterday).

But I'm thinking -- a vegetarian burrito with no salsa whatsoever would actually be bland-ish, wouldn't it? The rice isn't spicy, nor is the tortilla or sour cream or lettuce. The guacamole, IIRC, isn't what I would call spicy, and I think the pinto beans are pretty bland.

I might try it. Avoiding salsa will be the key, I think.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm having a bloody mary for breakfast! Which is perfect since I didn't bring any money today and this will help keep me full until I can run home and grab something.

Work boyfriend went home for the weekend, and I miss him. Will no one go have a smoke with me?

I think that as long as you avoid any and all tomatoes, Teppy, it could be considered bland.

I won't smoke with you DJ, but I would have joined you for a bloody mary.

21 minutes left of work for me, yay!

eta: the power outage in downtown dc today missed our doggy's daycare by 1 block - so she can stay there and play for the afternoon, double yay!

Might even want to skip the sour cream, Teppy...but really, trust your tummy. Rice and beans and tortilla sounds pretty darn bland to me, though.

The bloody mary is way yum! It's got habenero pepper which ups the spicy, which I like.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Did I know this? I mean, not like it's surprising given how long you two have been together and the whole trying to get pregnant thing, but SQUEE! I'm so happy for you (and so happy that our state is doing the right thing, for once).

We weren't going to get married unless the benefits were better than those you get being domestic partners (as we are already DPs). Then GF thought about it and said we definitely should do it for political reasons. People have fought very hard to get this right and everyone should be able to get married if they want to. So I'm pretty sure we're going to do it. Just go to City Hall and tie the knot :) I'm just pleased as hell that I got my bracelet out of it! Ridiculously priced, but I do love it and I think I'm going to get our wedding date (and maybe our initials) engraved once we decide what it'll be. I know two other same-sex couples who are also planning to get married. Yay!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'd avoid dairy, too, Teppy. In fact, with an upset like yours, I usually avoid solids at all for 12-24, and then start with the boring BRAT, and procede to blandish other things if that works over 4-8 hours. I know you're probably ravenous, and odds are blandish chipotle will be fine. But I'm a coward in such things, and my tum is calibrated for blandish on default.

Everyone else, I'm wishing your gastric demons begone. Or at least becalmed, for the forseeable future.

From yesterday, (((DJ and friend))). So many good wishes, and such thanks we've come this far, medically, since the 80s. We'd go even farther if our tax dollars weren't going to fund abstinence-only propaganda and anti-aging and virility research for the obscenely rich. (end rant)

This story is crazy romantic, GC. Grandchildren-telling romantic. And wonderful.
