Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

He is...THREADSLAYER! And his superpower is LOOMING!

FYI, Fay, I did a test run on Cass this weekend of the evil thing I'm going to do to you next time we meet. It's kind of Looming +.

Cass begged me to stop.

And don't think you're getting away with anything either, Suzi.

I'm about 90% of the way done with the PHB. I haven't bought the other books as I don't intend to DM (no time) but I have perused the art in MM and I'm happy to see it all printed well.

I'm still waiting for your 4E anecdote in Gaming, FWIW.

Ah, me, I look forward to the rare occasions me & Fay are on b.org at the same time, and then I go and scare her off.

I am a paradox wrapped up in a curmudgeon.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

PC - yay! Oh, so glad you're getting the Death Note love! Despite being very tell-don't-show, it's still gripping and twisty twisty turny like a crazy rococo thing. Where are you up to now?

Hee, it's basically ALL tell-don't-show, isn't it? Heh. I just finished chapter 28, which means I'm up to the craziness of TWO KIRAS.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Girly-medical-font question: Since I've started the Pill, my period has been way more gloppy than usual. Like, not so much liquid, lots of little clumpy pieces, and a few bigger clumpy pieces. Normal? Not normal?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Hil--probably normal, since if the Pill's hormonal balance is going to be a bit different than what your body produces naturally, and that changes your cycle. But I'd call your doctor anyway--she might can put you on a different pill that will give you a more comfortable cycle.

Cautionary note: my NP and I experimented and experimented trying to find one that would give me comfortable and predictable cycles without ruining my libido or making me cranky and depressed. I ultimately gave up. But I think I'm unusual in that regard and most women can find a formulation that works for them.
