Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

ION, Lake Delton disappears.

The news could have garnered more sympathy if I hadn't read the interview with the guy whose house was shown washing away--a Milwaukee businessman, it was his 2,800sq ft $500,000 weekend home lost when the man-made lake flooded, along with his boat and the dock it was attached to. He said he went their "every weekend." Whatever will he do with his weekends now, I wonder.

Still, lots of folks are losing their only homes to the flooding and that sucks badly.

That which does not kill you should RUN

Does anyone have any experience from ordering from b&lu?

Nora, did you check Fatshionista for reviews? I *think* that b&lu's sizes are true, but I've never ordered from them.

All is well that ends in pizza.

ION, Lake Delton disappears.

That's near Madison, where the F2F is in less than 2 weeks.

I just realized how bitchy that sounds but I couldn't believe the news interviewed that guy when other people have died in the flooding.

My crank is probably due to Christopher returning and reasserting himself--he doesn't like it when Liv runs around even half naked (telling her to put a shirt on when she got it wet this morning so I stripped it off of her) and Owen to not wear his sister's clothes. *sigh* Why these things matter to him is completely beyond me.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm eating spaghetti for breakfast and getting far too involved in a comment thread about a girl in Scotland who has rickets, and the press is blaming her vegan diet. I should probably go into the office today. I hope they've fixed the air conditioning.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

WOO-HOO!!!

No wonder you wanted new lipstick.

Well, I also wanted it for workish things. It was double-purposed.

I hope Toto is a good boy!
