What should I do with myelf today?
I just like the typo and am wondering what one does with an elf.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm just gonna stop typing now... that's probably my best bet.
Girly question font: I have my period. It's two weeks early, either from stress or possibly I screw up taking my pill this week. I'm going to call my doctor on Monday, but in the meantime, should I continue to take my pill as normal or stop taking it?
sj, I can't remember what the advice is in that sitch. Which pill is it? I'll look stuff up.
the only time I ever had a threesome I was asked to leave the room because I was laughing so hard.
That, in and of itself, has me honking with laughter.

Yaz. Thanks.
Eep! I suddenly seem to be having a brunch here for Father's Day next week. Who has some good brunch ideas? Preferably somethings that can be at least prepped the day before. I'm thinking of making a strata and a couple of fritattas, fruit salad, bacon, and sausage. Other than that I'm drawing a blank.
Randomly: when The Boy's alarm went off this morning (why set an alarm for a weekend day? well, did you ever?), I leaned over him to lookl at the time (I can read his digital clock from my side of the bed without glasses; I can NOT read *my* digital clock from *my* side of the bed without glasses; embrace the irony), and in my sleep-addled state, I make out something....extra on the bedside table.
Rub eyes. Point. "Um...um...." Am incapable of speech the moment I wake up, so all I can do is point. The Boy looks; the extra thing on the bedside table comes into focus as Toke the cat.
BUH?
The Boy moves to pick her up and remove her, and I hear a crabby meow -- from the foot of the bed! Guest Cat has also made it into the bedroom!
We sleep with the door cracked open for ventilation, but in order to keep the cats out, we have a total trailer-park solution of a long wire-rack type thing that slides in to the space that's cracked open. It's even bungee-d into place. But it's not perfectly engineered, and a resourceful feline *could* Great-Escape her way in.
Plus, Guest Cat is much more slender than our two, especially Toke, who is definitely not a bantamweight. I'm guessing that Guest Cat shoved at the bottom of our classy "screen door" and managed to dislodge it enough for Toke to follow.
This is exactly what happens when you agree to pet-sit your friends' pets in your own home. The interlopers cause all kinds of trouble that the resident pets would never have dreamed of.
This is how Rome fell, I tell you what.
sj, honestly, if you're going to talk to your doctor tomorrow, I'd just take today's pill (and take tomorrow's pill tomorrow) and find out what your doctor wants you to do. Two pills won't make a difference. Since you're having your period, you can't get pregnant (but if it makes you feel more secure, use backup BC like a condom), and taking the small hormonal dosage in the pill won't wreak utter havoc.
That's my .02 as someone who can look shit up and generally interpret it but is not a medical professional.
Had a great time at The Museum of Jurassic Technology yesterday but the whole place was so baffling that when we three emerged, blinking, into the sunlight we had to add on a trip to the tar pits to remind our brains what a museum that makes sense feels like.

Thanks, Teppy. That's what I thought, but I just wanted some confirmation until I could talk to my doctor. At least I know now why I was so hormonal this week.
sj, I hate that mysterious hormonal mood stuff. Last week K-Bug had asked "mom, are you just stressed or PMS'ing". Ummm, well, stress has been high lately so I wrote it off as that. Nope, day one on the hotel - SURPRISE! Garg. So tired of having my period while traveling.
I head home today. I'm going to look at a few more places for STBX - he needs to get something locked in before move time - I don't have room to store him or his stuff at my place.
