Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can't cast stones about being nice (sucker).

The rental folks have had a good giggle when I explain the situation and I have gotten "Wow, you are really going out of your way". No, going out of my way would be giving up my Saturday play day to look some more. I've looked in the area I'm living - the rest is up to him.

I'm hungry. I've only had a banana and a couple of cups of tea. And yet, I have no motivation to hop in the car. I should just suck it up and do "Room Service by Jeeves". The company is paying, right?

Our wings are not tired

Ouch! I just spent almost $100 filling the tank on my work truck. Now I'm sitting at the car wash.

It didn't scan very well, but I found a picture of me from my senior prom when I was cleaning out stuff at Mom's the other day.

Fay, your new haircut is FANTASTIC. (And makes me want to cut my hair like it. Which will never happen.) Also, re-read Hec's letter over and over and over, and then ASK OUT THE BLOKE. Because you are witty and charming and gorgeous, and he should be so lucky that you fancy him.

Thanks! I love love love that dress. I had it specially made because I was so teeny and very short so nothing in the stores fit me. I still have it despite the fact that I will never be able to wear it again.

Red wine:

The new upstairs neighbors seem to be moving in right now. Keeping my fingers crossed that they're not evil.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm having a Boy Problem. I need a smoke so I can go figure out how to write a summary for advice.

I could use a boy problem.

And, it occurs to me that if I wasn't a "taking a chance" kind of girl, I would never have gone to the Spanish Academy Awards. So, go for it Fay! (Unless he wears an ascot).

sj, that is a great dress. I don't blame you for saving it (I have a couple of dresses I'll never wear again that I have a hard time letting go of, too). Also, I will cross my fingers that you have excellent upstairs neighbors.

Suzi, GO YOU for finding a place to live and getting CJ enrolled!

Laga, I'm glad they're gone, but ew gross on what you have to clean up after them.
