I just found my pocket knife (which I've been looking for for a month) in my ex roommates' room.
'The Girl in Question'
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
At least they left it behind.
The most optimistic assumption is that they borrowed it and then lost it and then found it when moving out?
does she have REAL work to do?!
The NP says no, this is how she spends her days to occupy her time and justify her professional existence. The NP also says, "Fuck her! We protect each other down here, and you could come in at noon and I wouldn't tell her a goddamn thing!"
On day she said " D, I don't know how this will make you feel, but I felt I had to tell you that I have a crush on you."
Oh, now, I like that. That's something I could actually see myself saying. You're putting yourself out there but not so far that you wouldn't survive the fall if you miss.

We need to buy this person chocolate or whiskey.
hey I just found the missing sink scrubby in their bathroom! I wonder if this screwdriver I found is also ours.
Seriously, if R had never said anything, they would still both be alone. and they both look happy and content now. I know R is. And D, for the first time in years has a safe place to share his life.
I have two other friends, B and a Different D that are in their early 60's. Getting married next year. A very different story from above, but one that has also convinced me that taking chances is better than not.
The ability to be straight forward, and not waste time on games seems to be the blessing of love in later life. Not easy, but there is a lot to be said for being able to ask a question even though the answer might be yes, might be no might be maybe.
eww I just found a cup of tobacco juice and flies in their closet! That's enough cleaning for today.
I've put myself out there before (notably on Valentine's day with the friend of an ex-summer-fling who had moved away) and, while rejection always sucks in the short term, I can't think of a time where I've said "I really regret taking that chance."
Regretted dating that a**hole? Yes. Regretted trying to date that a**hole? No. And, regretting trying to date that really cool, interesting guy? Certainly not.
all your d's are belong to Iris!
that is all.
