Painful. Our IT guy is hot. SMOKING HOT. He has this amazing voice....and gorgeous blue eyes and just a sprinkling of grey hair and is super smart and nice and doesn't wear a ring, and that confluence of wonderousness almost certainly means that he is gay. *Sigh* Except that he dresses horribly shlumishly, so maybe there is hope and no girlfriend. I can't recall being this swoony since undergrad, i feel like an idiot. And....coworker. My second week on the job. Really shouldn't be hurling myself at the overstressed IT guy who barely speaks to me but sometimes smiles shyly as he walks by on his way to the office of whoever important whose computer died today. *sigh* Nor should i be posting this from the work computer, but there it is. I am stooooopid today and having trouble concentrating on the large pile of nothing in my to do pile. Already read two newspaper, three magazines today. *sigh* And he's only in the office two days a week :( But maybe that's for the best as less distraction is probably good right now. But honestly. i could use some distractions! Just not the fantasizing kind. This is really out of character for me! But *Swoon*

I just almost told one of the partners to sto whistling because it's bad luck. Then remembered that i am in an advertising agency, not a theatre. AFAIK, there is no superstition about whistling in an advertising agency, as there are no ropes to be pulled by sailors. But there are sailors outside, a few tall ships having something to do with one of the paraded last weekend. Or this weekend. Too many parades! Portland needs to settle down.
