Zoom, Ellie! So cute!
And how is it that F no longer looks like a wee baby, but a big baby boy?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Chez Panisse
I've eaten there! Once.
the philosophy of using fresh local ingredients and presenting them in their purest form
That's fascinating Jessica. And makes so much sense. I'll see if I can find that book at the library. I am intrigued by social movements, whether you call them fads or not, and the progression of the food culture seems unique unto itself. I don't know much about it at all.
Happy Birthday, Big Girl Ellie!
Aw, happy birthday, Ellie!
I highly recommend The United States of Arugula for a fantastic history of upscale food in the US. Apart from telling me more about James Beard's sex life than I ever wanted to know, it's a really terrific read.
Adds that to the "to buy" list.
Happy Birthday, Ellie!!! She's such a big girl and so pretty!
I'll have to add The United States of Arugula to my wishlist. I've been reading a lot of food related books recently.
How depressing is this: I had a dream last night in which *I* was the Meredith Grey character. I woke up and was mightily angered and depressed. I am not the pathetic whiny depressing Meredith Grey character!!! WTF, subconscious?!!??
Happy birthday, Ellie! I hope it's footloose and free for anything fancy.
Happy Birthday Ellie!
I'm at my mom's house (Iv'e been sleeping over here since Sunday night). My grandmother has been sprung from the hospital and will be staying with an aunt and uncle in town, I'm seeing her after work.
My Aunt is back at her house (she lives one town over), and my other uncle and aunt are staying with her.
My cousin's obituarary will be in tomorrow's paper, but I'm going to see if I can read it tonight.
Everyone at work is nice. Although I don't qualify for breavement leave it's only for immediate family. However, I stated earning leave time the day I started so I have enough hours to cover all my time except 3 hours.
My brother and sis in law are coming down next week. We're talking about getting a fruit bearing tree, maybe another citrus for my aunt and grandma and planting it in their yard. If tha'ts what they want.
My cousin was a wonderfulperson, he touched so many people, but he wasl ike me and procrastinated like crazy. There were things he meant to do that will never be done. When this week is over there things I've put off that I will be starting.
Everyone says well there's always tomorrow, but there might not be.
So everyone should have a good life, enjoy the people they are with, do what they love and not put it off. And Fay needs to ask the hot guy she's been telling us about out, unless she did already and I missed that.
askye, I'm not sure I said it before but I'm so sorry about your cousin.
And yes, Fay should ask out the hot guy.
