I just bought a bag of frozen edamame with a big picture of Dora the Explorer on it! I had edamame on my shopping list anyway, then I saw the Dora package and figured why not. Though I just realized that this is actually a big bag containing lots of little portion-sized bags, which was not what I wanted. Oh well.
my niece LOVES the Dora edamame. When they first bought it, she wanted all of her food to be Dora food. She has now come to understand that most food is not Dora.
my soup's main ingredients are chili beans, half & half and fritos.
edit: it does have carrots and celery!.. and taco sauce.
sox, insent re busy
I'm sort of amused by the jihading dogs, although that must be not much fun for Teppy.
you add them to the bowl before serving. You're supposed to sprinkle them on top but I like them both on top and on the bottom.
t makes note to buy Dora edamame to see if Em will eat it.
aww the dog's dreaming. I love it when her little paws start going.
I love hot edamame
I used to think the idea of cold edamame was NAST, until last summer when it was about 1,000 degrees out. I made some edamame, refrigerated it, and -- yummy cold snack!

Actually, all I can hear in my head is Eddie Izzard, saying, "Fucking jihad on you, man!"
I need to seek this out, as well. Liv loves sugar snap peas so she may very well take to edamame very well. Owen probably won't because he's on a year-long veggie strike.

I stand corrected. Although, half & half isn't even real cream, so, depending on the amount, that might not be too bad.
And you could substitute homemade tortillas chips for a similar crunch. Although I realize that might take the family comfort food element out of it.
