It seems to be really fashionable to hate LA or to say it’s a terrible place to live, so it’s really nice to hear someone not from here say it could be home, even if it isn’t your first choice.
Well, now that I've seen bungalow heaven, my opinion may have changed.
Hey Suz, lots of Good News ~ma to you. You still need it, yes?
In a general sense yes, but we are back to no news to report mode. So nothing good to report, but nothing really bad either.
We doing lunch Wednesday?
Hee! Yeah, we love our neighborhood.
We doing lunch Wednesday?
Did I owe you email? I swear, percocet causes memory loss. I'll go check email, but yes, we're on for lunch. YAY.
Kristin, the box of tea came. Thanks!
Ha! I'm too quick for amych and now she looks mildly crazy.
I was trying to phonetically spell out my self diagnosis of halfzeimers and changed my mind while hitting Post.

Pasadena is an oasis of cool. I recall when I was headed up there for the first time a few years back, sister Meg telling me how much it reminds her of our little suburban railway stop of a home town. If it weren't for the parking Pasadena would be perfect.
Ah, well. Mildly crazy is a
good
day.
I swear, percocet causes memory loss.
Yes, yes it does.
I think I need to live somewhere where I don't need a motor vehicle for every day life. I find myself getting jumpy in sprawly places - no value judgment there, it's just my reaction to it.
I love having my motorcycle, but I'm very happy to not have to depend on it - I'm very happy to be able to treat it as the luxury that it is. I'm so happy to be able to walk most places I need to go, and to be able to take public transit for most of the rest of it.
