[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

so sorry askye, love to you and your family.
(And a couple of bits struck me as racist, and kinda pissed me off.)

I just came back from SatC. I was never a big watcher, so I mosly went just to go with my friend, and it kinda just made me want to slap everyone. (And a couple of bits struck me as racist, and kinda pissed me off.)
Ah, crap. My friend's mad into SatC, and she's planning a whole big party thing - we're all dressing up and everything. Not so much my cup of tea, but I love here and I approve of the dressing up notion, so...but it's sounding distinctly wince-inducing.
why do mothers feel the need to stress you out? Nearly 2 hours on the phone with her. and she's asking all these pointed questions about the move that I can't answer yet. "I'll know that when I talk to the movers" "I'll know that when I find out availability of the various apartments" "I don't know how I'll pay for the first month when I am in LA, I'll ask that when I get the apartment" "I dunno where I'll get a hotel room as I travel" etc etc etc. UGgggggg! As if I'm not stressing enough.

ION, I got good news from landlord:
As far as the July's rent, you don't have to pay it since I still have your $400 deposit. I will pro-rate July's rent and refund you the rest!
Cool! One less bill to pay in 25 days.
So sorry about your cousin, askye.
Omnis, I'm glad your landlord is being less stress-y than your mom.
IOmeN, I seem to have woken up at 4am.
Oh, askye, I am so sorry. That is so horrible. Much ~ma to you and your family.
I'm so sorry, askye. So, so sorry. How tragic.
Home is where my dog is. Which is a continent away right now. This layover in DC can end now, please.
askye, all sorts of peace~ma to your and your family.
Home is where the hubby is, and now the puppy -- but NoCal still feels like the place where we belong because we'd been there long enough that we no longer had to think so hard about where to go or how to get there when we wanted/needing something.
I have a comp day today (because I worked on Sat) and I will be spending it going through my closet and cleaning the house. Yay? My reward is a Bikram yoga class at 6 p.m.
