Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I just emailed the instructor of a Japanese swordsmanship class at my local community college this summer to ask if I need to get in better shape before starting the class, and if not, is it a problem that I'll have to miss one week because I'll be out of town.

t gulp Unless he says, "Go away, you flabby person who can't be there eight out of eight weeks," I'm actually going to do this. I'm askeert of looking all clumsy and flabby and stupid, but...swords! Which might give me the motivation to actually exercise more, because...SWORDS!
