So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Actually, the only person that said that (besides the lovely sj, and she's already bringing stuff) is one of J's guests, so I don't have her phone number.

Harumpft! Well then, call the person who you know can handle this, even if they didn't volunteer. You're giving them a whole party, the least s/he can do is pick up some salt.

And sj is very lovely, I agree.

vw, if you can't find any, let me know. I'm happy to pick some up.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Well, get your butt up here. There will be PLENTY to go around. J's SO is making them. He was so funny. He's like, "So what level hangover do you want your guests to have?"

Verra tempting! Do I need to get dressed? I have a cute nightie on (it's too humid to wear anything else right now, and I'm just writing cover letters, anyway.)

sj is good people! Throwing a party is a PITA; fun, but a PITA. I always forget something and have to call -- someone's always stopping by a liquor store to buy their brand of rum or smokes or something, anyway.

A martini bar in town makes the best gimlets, with freshed squeezed lime juice...mmm.

I think I might just need a limeade. Why don't I have a cabana boy? Or a valet? (Huh...would feminine of valet be...valette? valeuse? or would she just be a lady's maid?)

Erin, you don't have to get dressed. It's my party and I say so.

Daniel, the thing about that kerfuffle that has me the most baffled is WHY she's wearing that scarf anyway? It's fugly.
