I'd like Dee's opinion on whether we need to jump ASAP - those Civvies might not need as much protection as we think. Then we have to decide if we believe her, of course.
Without taking that into account, Starbuck might be able to take out enough Raiders to buy us time for a safer jump.
I would really love to finish off that Basestar, it's so close to blowing up! But I don't think it's a priority right now.
BSG
I respectfully disagree - if we stick around to get a safer place to jump from (further down the track), that Basestar will produce 2 new Raiders every time Raiders activate, in addition to whenever the Basestar itself is activated. I think destroying it with the Galactica is a priority, while those who can pilot Vipers mop up the Raiders, and Dee "motivates" the civvies to skedaddle.
It's unfortunate I can't really do any of those things myself. Well, maybe I can pull a trigger or two.
BSG
That's a good point, but I think the raiders in sector 5 are our first priority if we aren't jumping immediately.
Too bad you didn't take it out last time you were firing weapons, Ellen.
BSG
I can support a decision to jump even if we don't have SP. We haven't lost any pop yet.

Me, too. I thought the most pressing danger was from the Raiders in space, not from the Basestar. This is why I generally DON'T let Saul make tactical decisions; every time I listen to him, something gets lost. Bodyparts, frequently.
Don't ask.
BSG
I don't think it would be a good idea to lose either of the two civvies that I saw.

I'm sure you won't lose them. They're right there where you left them.
BSG
Do we know for sure that one of us is a cylon yet?
BSG
I have a policy of not asking you and Saul about bodyparts, dear.
Still thinking through our options: if raiders activated right now, the raiders in sector 5 would take out the RSVs but not be able to get to the civvies right away. Next turn would have 7 raiders in sector 5 and 2 in sector 1 (and more further away from our Civilians). Yikes. But jumping on Dee's turn is about as safe as jumping on Starbuck's, as far as the raiders are concerned. We might be best served by scouting the Crisis Deck or working the Engine Room, if those are possibilities.
BSG
I can work it, baby... But yeah, two more jump activations before auto jump? I think it's worth the risk.
