Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

So, we've got the boarding party to foil, ex-president Baltar to brig, and Kobol to reach on 3 Fuel, eh?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's just so easy to fall into that Princess Bride rhythm.

Hmm. I think we're kinda in trouble.

Okay, our original plan was for me to XO the Admiral to take the Presidency and then for us to try to brig Baltar. But the Pradmiralissimo has the Presidency covered. And I can't repair fuel. So now is the best move the brig attempt since I'm here? It would not be using an XO, so we'd lose the extra move.

Or I could XO Helo to head to the Armory and start dealing with the Centurions if we think that's higher priority.

Well, shoot, damage Chief can't fix. So, we've got the boarding party to foil, ex-president Baltar to brig, and Kobol to reach on 3 Fuel, eh? Excelsior.

It's quite the corker. However, never fear! There are some silver linings.

1. The Quorum can help a bit against the boarders. Your reroll will come in handy too.

2. The four cards Baltar just played diminishes his ability to fight a brigging. (Starbuck will still be in for a card, of course.)

3. We still have more Fuel than distance left to travel. We don't want to lose any more, certainly, but it's not critical yet.

4. We've had a fair few Crises with heavy raider activations already. With any luck these guys won't be in any hurry.

Of course, any one of these could turn sour with the wrong cards. We're still flying though.

I'd suggest we still wait for my turn to brig El Weasel. My draw is 100% positive for a briggening. Especially if you can Consolidate Power with your first action too, I'd recommend you wait for an XO from me.

There's no harm in getting Helo started on the Centurions immediately; with his reroll, though, his turn is the best time to try that on. Other options:

XO Helo to scout Crisis and/or Destination
XO me to fish for an IC into brigging Baltar and/or scout Crisis

Ooh! Wait up a moment! I've been checking out the perks of my Presidentismitude, and there's a nice surprise or two in here. Chief, I'd suggest you go ahead and XO me as per the original plan; you won't regret it.

Okie doke. I'm going to go ahead since it's pretty clear where we're at at this point.

I do not move.

I XO-1 Pradmiralissimojo Adama.

With his first action, "Pradmiralissimojo" has played Assign Arbitrator on the Chief. In addition to letting him draw 2 Politics, this means that, when a player activates the Admiral's Quarters, Chief may discard this card to increase or reduce the difficulty by 3.

I have some thoughts on how you might like to use that card, Chief, if you're interested.

For his second action, the Prad... has decided to try to scout the Crisis Deck. This involves a die roll, so please post about interrupts regarding SPs.
