Leaderhips has put down his knitting long enough to hit the Press Room twice.

And now for a New Years Eve crisis: Requested Resignation!

As God is my witness, I swear this was the next card in the deck. Details to follow.

Wow. Well, I know what I would choose if I were the Admiralissimident-elect. Hope he doesn't turn out to be the Cylon after all.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

As God is my witness, I swear this was the next card in the deck.

Just one God? Our moderator is a Cylon!

President Weasel! You've proven unworthy of the title bestowed upon you, the noble title of 'Badger'. You're back to Weasel. And I'm taking the Presidency too. Give it, or face some XTREME briggening!

You know, the only upside of all this is that at least I didn't lose another son I never had. Baltar is more like the son I never wanted. Seriously, what's with that hairdo? He looks like a muppet. Runs like one too, I never get tired of watching that. It's been decreed, what this fleet needs is a Pradmiralissimo. Or putting Baltar behind soundproof glass and turning him into a mime. It's your choice, really.

I choose to demand the Presidency.

Did I ever mention that I'm afraid of muppets? AND IT TURNS OUT THERE'S A GOOD REASON...MUPPETS ARE TRYING TO BE OUR ROBOTIC OVERLORDS!

The President must now choose to give the President title to El Hippo, or move to the Brig.

Note that all of these choices are subject to Helo's OPG ability.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

Well at least you're no closer to jumping.

While I see some personal advantage in the son I never had being able to change Baltar's mind, I should note that there's some dispute on this. Some people read Helo's ability as only applying to the "xxx OR yyy" formatted choices - so he could change my mind but not Baltar's. I'll see what I can hunt down, but it may need a GM's ruling.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

I doubt I'd use my OPG on this particular decision, fwtw.

I thought that's what I just did.

What can I say? I'm a literal person. The text reads "After a player makes a choice on a Crisis Card, you may change it." To me, that applies to any choice.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

Well, Starbuck, since I know you Cylons have a master plan, does my remaining President but brigged, or losing the Presidency in order to stay unbrigged and "help" with the Super Crisis you are likely to unleash on your turn serve that plan better?

I am only asking so I can choose the opposite, of course. {wink-wink}
