The thoughts of your illustrious leader. (No, I mean me. Who did you think I meant, President Meerkat? ...Yes, his fine work on the Lambada Cylon Detector has earned him a promotion. I still mean me.)

1. With an SP and Helo's reroll, we would have a 14% chance of losing Fuel. Those are pretty good odds. I'm willing to try for it (if someone has an SP, as I can't help there).

2. The fail effect from the skill check is better than the fail effect from the die roll. I'm also fine with taking the skill check and deliberately failing.

3. I'm less keen on taking the skill check and trying to pass it. This is as expensive as Bomb on Colonial One, for less payoff. (And I could only help a little.)

4. Jumps yay!

Ok Helo, this is pretty much all on you. Let's see what you're made of.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, I'll wait to see if the other humans have opinions, but I'm leaning towards the skill check. 14% chance of losing fuel seems like still too much risk when it'll cost mere injury to myself and a raptor that I saved for no apparent reason a little while ago to definitely not lose fuel. My last trip to sickbay was pretty okay...

Apparently Helo is made of Slacktopium, the slackest material known to man. While you're kicking back in Sickbay again I'll have Doc Cottle check if you have algae growing in your pelt. That's an order, Doctor! Check his pelt! Check it!

Some would say I am made of Caution and Self-sacrifice for the Greater Good. I am pretty sure. If you asked the right people. Getting hit with raptor shrapnel isn't exactly a day at the beach, you know.

It is when I go to the beach, soldier! As far as I'm concerned, a beach means just one thing, and that's firestorm! You take that beach, and hold it in the face of withering enemy fire, and you build your sandcastles from titanium and bile! That is what a day at the beach means under my command!

I'm taking Ryan there for Christmas break! I can't wait to see his face!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

I can help with the skill check if we go that route. Can't help with the die roll.

I'm okay with sending Helo to sickbay since he apparently likes it so much. Doc Cottle must be giving him the good drugs.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I too can help with the skill check but not the die roll. I tend to agree that we really don't want to risk that fuel.

OK, Skill Check it is. And I don't think we need to waste cards on it, personally.

Okay, ICs are the only interrupt here. I need to hear from Baltar and Chief before proceeding with the check.
