You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

I also pass.

It pains me but no cards

If Destiny turns out to have been kind, I shall cry. In a manly way.

I make it about a 1 in 6 chance of being doubly positive, which means a 5 in 6 chance of being no real help or worse. No regrets, soldier! We make our decisions best we can and we stand by them.

Of course, there's no telling what cards might have been played, but someone might want to have a hanky ready for Chief.

A single manly tear. For the wanton destruction. I could have fixed her, you know!

Hmm, my usual leadership techniques aren't working here. This calls for drastic measures. Both of you! Eyes focused on me, now! Stare... directly... into the Leaderhips. Watch their every motion... Feel your mind unburdening...

Now. Everything is fine. When you look at the basestar, you will not see a threat. You will see job security. A sense of calm and well-being is washing over you. There is only peace and leaderhips.

When I count backwards to 1, you will wake up. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1. Alright, soldiers? Get back to work now. We have a battlestar to run! t exits, humming "Paid the cost to be the boss"

Ensign 1: "Does-- Does he actually think that works?"
Ensign 2: "Hey, do you want to be the one to tell him otherwise? Anyway... It kind of puts your other problems into perspective, doesn't it?"

Menawhile, kudos, Starbuck. You killed our jump icon and our raptor. Just for that, I'm cancelling your roller disco privileges. I don't know why I ever agreed to it in the first place, really. Only one pair of skates survived the Cylon attack, and they don't even fit me. What's the point if I can't break out my sweet dance moves and declare to the awe-struck crew, "That's the way your Admiral rolls!"?
