Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

9 YG
Destiny Deck: 2 cards
Helo: 2 cards
Tigh:1 card
Chief: 1 card
Apollo: 1 card
Boomer: 1 card
Zarek: 6 cards
Running Total: 8 out of 9
FAIL

YELLOW: Y1,Y1,Y1,Y2
GREEN: G1, G2, G2, G3, G4, G5
purple: P4, P5
red: R1, R4
blue: none played

I think this might be the first check where a Declare Emergency could be played. So, before we go through the consequences of falling just shy of the finish line, we will pause to see if the line can be shifted.

(ps: as a geek, I'm tickled that Green was fully representing, all numbers accounted for)

Just to clarify the current decision, you reached a partial pass, so no Morale loss. If you play a DE, then Zarek doesn't have to discard 2 cards. (I think, with the hefty showing he added to this check, he only has one remaining card to toss.)

Even though we have a partial pass and are just talking about Zarek losing his last card, given the color, I think it's more important than this one.

I play a G3.

Given that we also finally coaxed that damn P5 out of the toasters' hands, I feel really good about this one.

It might have been Destiny. You never know. I do! Mwhahaha.

Excellent, now we have a passing check! Y'all have earned "No Effect" again. I think this one comes with a bobble head.

We activate the Heavy Raiders. They shift from nowhere to nowhere.

We advance the jump track. We are still in the red! But one step closer to Kobol.

And that brings us to the end of Zareks turn.

As we advance the round, Tigh was seen stumbling in the passageways. Seems he found a stash of hooch. In the course of swerving from side to side, he dropped his P3, and now has no cards.

Hee. Given that we coaxed 12 cards worth 28 points out of your hands, I'm feeling pretty good about it too.

Seriously though (and without confirming or denying anything about the prior locations of any cards that may or may not have been held by any toasters for 35 turns or more), there are surprisingly few ckill shecks for which a good Purple card gives the Cylons much of a boost. As long as Morale is fairly healthy, at least.

MOVE/ACTION: I launch myself in a viper into Sector 5.

BONUS ACTION: I play a P1 to scout the crisis deck.
