When I played the Destiny Deck cards into the check, it depleted it. While restocking it, Tactics (Purple) and Piloting (Red) decks were also reshuffled.

Good shooting boys!
As for those nasty prisoners (Sorry, Zarek), I don't think we care about a partial pass, so it's go for it or not.
I think the question is, are we going to try to jump early or not (i.e., on this next turn at -3)? If so, we might not want to lose any population. Note: I can help try to help out on that jump with an SP, but it will still be a 50-50 shot.
Since there is only a heavy raider being activated, those civvies aren't in immediate danger and we might want to wait for Chief's turn and hope for one more jump icon, but there are plenty of cards without.
I think that, given the colors of our hands, we should be able to pass this. But, if Tigh and/or Chief have XOs in hand, they might want to hold on to them to be sure to have one on their turn.
I don't know about Zarek, but I could help a lot with this check. It's just a question of whether spending that much on one population makes sense.

Correction on the e-mail. The activation of the HR, I listed it going the wrong way. I saw it on the board heading towards sector 5, but my fingers typed the sector that is counter clockwise. D'oh! So the HR will move from sector 3 to sector 4.
I wouldn't mind passing the presidency on but I understand not wanting to risk population. If we go for the check I can help a little.

So? what have we decided?
BSG
Well, we haven't heard from either Tigh or Chief since you sent the Crisis Card out.

I can help a little, but as I have two cards, I will need to put in none or both (or one card just gets flushed down the hole anyway due to Tigh's weakness). And the two cards don't amount to much, I have to say.
Personally I think it might be wiser to hold onto cards for another crisis. I don't want to lose pop but since we know who the Cylons are, Zarek passing on the presidency title isn't such a bad thing.
Still if others think it's worth going for I'll go along with it. i don't have strong feelings one way or the other.

I can help some with the check, but it's my last card.
Do we have an IC we can play into the check? With the high target number, I'd rather not play it blind. Especially for one of our higher resources. If we've got to do it blind, I'd be tempted to say just tank it than risk over-spending or playing a bunch of cards for no gain.
I don't think jumping early is worth it, yet. Maybe if we get to the -1 pop chance, but we've got enough vipers in the air to keep the civvies protected for the moment (especially after the firefight this turn) and I really would prefer if we could scout the destination deck before jumping so we can hopefully make sure we only us one fuel to jump.
