What's the most food we could lose in one turn? Is it worth it to spend a turn attempting to add 1 to food?
I can talk to the quorum about food rationing but there's only a 63% chance of getting help from them.
I think the most important thing we could do now is scout, no? We need to move towards jumping if we can.

I think that sounds like the best course. At this point in the jump prep, it would be worthwhile both scouting the Crisis Deck, for jump icons, and the Destination Deck to fix a good jump.

Food Shortages can lose 2 Food, but they're President's Choice, so that's under your control. There's also Water Sabotaged which can lose 2 Food, but that involves both a player choice and failing a skill check.

I've emailed omnis. I should in fact have 0 cards, discarding a G4 as the last in my hand after playing the P4 in the check. Unfortunately my own records were screwed up so I didn't realize I had it till after Boomer played her card to finish the check or I would have just offered to finish the check with it.
Awaiting my new hand before acting. And by "awaiting," I mean mixing myself a Manhattan.
Cylons still playing it close aren't they? Or maybe we don't have any this game? ;)

It's always tricky telling a drunk he's been rolled. Glad to see the Admiral realized that on his own. Sorry about the spreadsheet snafu.
The admiral has his new cards. Discuss options in thread.

OK yeah, food isn't as dire as I worried. I'm all for scouting the destination deck.

I love the idea of scouting, but I am also concerned about those raiders headed to Apollo and 3 civilians, if I'm reading the summary right.
Even if we get to jump next turn, if raiders activate this turn there could be some trouble. Apollo is capable of defending himself I believe but that's not much consolation.
BSG
I believe it would take TWO raiders activations to attack the ships and Apollo. One to move into the sector, the second to attack. They would, one at a time, first shoot on Apollo. If he survives the rolls, the civvies are safe. If rolls are the worst, two of the would be gone.
BSG
I believe Apollo has been hanging on to cards for his defense. I also have a card that would help with that.
BTW, I just got home and checked my cards, and I could scout both decks.
