Illigitimi non carborundum

Oh, I miss Fallout 3. My old PC died, and while I got a cheapish laptop to fulfill instant Internet, writing, and game mastering needs, I haven't gotten a new gaming rig yet, so I haven't been able to play it in awhile (actually, the new laptop might run it on lowest settings if you kick it hard enough, but I don't really want to try). Unfortunately I'm a little short on cash for a few months yet, so probably won't get the new computer until around Christmastime.

Cannot waaaaaait until Fallout New Vegas (which will also have to wait until Christmas... :( ).

Raq, how did you get Fallout 3 Dev notes?

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Ooh, I'd be interested in that, if nobody else wants it, Raq.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I feel certain that college was not this cool when I attended.

Probably my favorite part of Fallout 3 so far is that Billy West is all over it. That I've noticed right off the bat - there's a scientist that he voices that is instantly recognizable because he's using the Professor Hubert T. Farnsworth voice. And I just entered Underworld (the ghoul city) for the first time and met Cerberus, the ghoul's security robot.

For that, Billy used the Zapp Brannigan voice.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I want to see the exam question about the ontological status of the cake.

I want to take that class!

Except, I already have. If someone could just lend me their lecture notes, I'll play through again....

Okay, I'm still talking to the Billy West/Zapp Brannigan guard robot as we chat, and the dialog is pee-your-pants funny.

Okay, I sort of fell down the rabbit hole about Portal. I didn't even know the game HAD a director's commentary.

And I'd always wondered about the name "Chell."

So I found this and his related articles very interesting: [link]
