Yes, CO's have a pass on DE's from everyone.

FYI - While dealing cards to Tigh, I had to reshuffle the Leadership deck.

OMNIS: As of end of last turn, I had two cards--indeed, as your email to me verified. Of course NOW I have more as it's my turn. (Also: does Boomer still have 10 cards? I thought you lost your hand when you went to the brig, but maybe I'm misremembering. I also thought that's why she was unable to help in the last skill check, because otherwise, she'd have those yellows she'd been drawing in the press room.)

Well, I'm actually kind of at a loss this time around. My thoughts are maybe ordering the CAG to pre-emptively launch some vipers so we don't get caught with our pants down.

I could also draw a Blue card (would have been nice to have that one that turns Blue positive on skill checks last turn), or I could send out a scout. (These are also things that someone could XO me to do on their turn if they would be obliging.)

Also, as I've taken over Boomer's role in the Press Room, anyone can feel free to XO me to draw more yellow. I can return the favor.

Nah. By my count I have 9 cards (you don't lose your hand when you go to the Brig). You'll recall too that, first, I didn't get to use the Press Room much while I was there; and second, I've been generous with ICs and whatnot. I couldn't have changed the result.

Curious. It says 10, but the card pile shows 9. But slot number one in the spreadsheet in his column is empty. Hmm, spreadsheet isn't perfect.

Helo has 5 cards, but spread sheet says 6. Same thing.

Gorrum it!

eta same with Apollo.

Something isn't right in the state of denmark. WTF spreadsheet! Can't you automate anything right?

Ah! Fixed! Apparently when I wrote in some notes about passes, it screwed with some formulas. But thankfully it seems to be working ok now.

So we spent 7 cards (counting the IC) to save 4? If I ran the decks with that level of efficiency, our pilots would be down to taking running leaps out the launch tubes and flapping their arms.

Well, not exactly. When people began, there was no knowing where we would end up. So, once the first couple were spent, it was six of one, half-dozen of the other. Given what I played, I felt they were likely worth "less" than what the President had.

I would add that it would have been helpful if everyone had spoken up to say whether they could help or not.

Well, if you say it like that, of course it's going to sound bad.

Seriously, I did raise the option of tanking this one after we saw how bad Destiny was; but Helo's not wrong. If we'd succeeded we'd have saved the Morale too, so the way it looked at the start, there was something else to try for. In hindsight it didn't work out, but I believe going for it was an honest call.
