Very good. The CO's from Chief are as follows:

activate Communications twice and move all the civvies into sector 5.
And to clarify, that is ships A, B, & C in Sector 4, and E in Sector 6. All four of those are have been moved to Sector 5. Chief has also peeked at the manifest of those ships and has learend what they carry. Alas, we aren't allowed to tell you. So no 'Code Red" actions, ok! No quarters in socks while he's in the latrine. A boy needs to keep his secrets.

With that business done, the next task is the Crisis Card! It's as follows:
Security Breach
6 GP

Hopefully y'all can pass this one. 6 isn't that difficult. Unless destiny deck spikes it something fierce. We shall see what fate tosses at you. I will send out an e-mail with the details. First order of business is interrupts. Anyone want to play an IC or SR, let me know, pass or play.

CO's are most welcome to keep things flowing.

Boomer, you will be first after we hear pass/no pass on interrupts.

Ok, no jump icon, that's a shame. Some questions about the skill check:

1. Do we want to pass this? We need one resource in the red at the Sleeper Phase for a human sympathiser. Morale is one of the more defensible resources, so makes a good choice. However, we've already taken a couple of hits on Food and Fuel. Perhaps we'd be better off relying on one of them.

2. If we do want to pass this, it's an easy check and they're good colours for us. I make Destiny's cards about a 25% chance of being both negative. Do we want to use an IC on this check, or save it for a harder one?

3. If we want to pass this, say we aim for about 9 or 10 to cover the Destiny risk. We probably only need two or three people to put in for this check. Fewer contributors mean that if it gets spiked, it's easier to chase down whodunnit. Who's willing to put in for this one?

I can put in to this check, but I'm not that well favoured in the positive colours. If a couple of others could step up, gosh, I'd be ever so grateful.

We haven't jumped once yet, so forgive me if I'm a bit hestiant about intentionally burning resources in the hopes of keeping the sympathizer on our side without completely frakking ourselves.

I can help a little with the check.

BSG I can help a little. And with such a low difficulty hopefully we don't need a huge amount anyway.

Fair enough. Note though that we are about to jump; assuming we can clear at least 2 Distance per jump, we're about halfway to the Sleeper Phase already.

I agree with the sentiment though, with Fuel and Food already having taken hits and likely to be flirting with the Red zone, there's no reason to add Morale to the list.

It seems no one feels the need for an IC on this check, so I Pass on interrupts. Let's set up a list for interrupts:

Security Breach - Interrupts
Boomer: Pass
Zarek:
Helo: Pass (no Yellow or Blue)
Tigh: Pass (no Yellow or Blue)
Chief:
Apollo:

Looking forward to my turn, I've been thinking about my action. I don't know my card draw yet of course, but I was thinking of these actions:

1. Scout the Destination Deck. We're about to jump, it's a good time to check our options there.

2. Scout the Crisis Deck. Looking for jump icons, of course.

3. Work the Press room again. (This is really just in case I can't scout. I don't think it's the best choice when I have a good supply of cards.)

Does anyone else have thoughts on what I should do?

Sorry folks, the thing holding us up is Laga, and I didn't get a chance to try and call her. She's still a bit grey with her move, and the library being closed Monday for the holiday. If she doesn't get a chance to pop online on Tuesday, I'll call her when I get home 7pm board time. I'm also waiting on CO's from Kalshane and NoiseDesign. I'm guessing ND is back on ship and swamped.

BSG

Boomer has sent word. She isn't playing anything to this check.
