That's not an actual location on Galactica, so no repair needed, correct?
That is correct. There was a reduction in resource. I was being cute. No repair needed, but jumping will be interesting. Most jumps are about 1 fuel per distance. Y'all have gone distance 0, and have fuel 7, and you need to travel 8. Should be fun. Hope the Admiral makes good choices when it comes to jumping.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

I will move to Communications and play a G1 XO on Boomer.

We're still dangerously low on cards, and with my weakness I'm better off playing cards than hoarding them. As BT said we're at least 2, possibly 3 raider activations away from losing civies and if the raiders activate, hopefully someone can XO me so I can pull all the vulnerable civies into Sector 5 with Apollo before they activate again.

Brave! Ever wonder if she's the reason Salty is the Admiral? Let's see what she does with this XO.

Your move has been notated, and the G1 removed from your hand.

Boomer, ball is in your court. Please post a MOVE and ACTION, or TWO ACTIONS in the PRESS ROOM.

LOVE those shoes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I will move to Communications and play a G1 XO on Boomer.

t swoon He's so decisive, don't you think? That's what I think. I bet he'll be a hit with the ships' captains. He'll be all, "This is Galactica, Actual" and they'll be all, "Roger that". Don't you just love all that military speak? He has this voice he does when he's serious, like when he's chewing out some of his team. I act like I'm not really listening, but I am.

Anyway, my orders. I activate the Press Room twice.

The idea of Boomer talking to the press reminds me of the West Wing episode where Josh does the press briefing and announces the President's secret plan to fight inflation. (Tigh has a secret plan to fight inflation, and he promises he'll still have one nuke left afterwards.)

Politicise me, Roslin's Giant Disembodied Head.

Dear god, that woman just keeps talking. Did she make any sense to anyone? Well, Boomer now has 4 yellow cards. Hopefully some skill checks will need them.

Speaking of skill check, it's time for Crisis Card! Since we had Water Shortage last time, seems only fitting that we have:

Food Shortage!

Another Presidents choice. Details to follow in a group e-mail. I will text the President and see if she is still awake, to give her a heads up on the situation.

Apollo, on your turn you get a choice with your card draw. My Press efforts bore modest but not spectacular results, so if you wanted to draw Politics it'd likely still be helpful. The only downside is that XOs live in Leadership (Chief Tyrol's in position to work one), but if you were planning to unleash a Max Firepower on the raiders in Sector 6, you wouldn't need one this turn anyway.

Generally, you're a great player to have XOs in your hand. Say we get an attack card. Your Alert Viper Pilot ability means that you can hop one of the new vipers and take an action as soon as the ships are deployed. If no one else has played an XO that turn, you have that option, which means we could pull some viper activations (or move the civvies or fire at the basestars etc etc) immediately.

Again with the food. Didn't we hear this song last game?

I can take the card hit without losing too much if we take option 2, but I won't be able to help much with any crisises.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have about a 1/2 hour left in the library. We're still pretty poor in the card department but I'm worried about food now too. Please discuss and I'll log back in tonight from my parents' house with my decision.
