Oh, haha, there's a board. Here I was assuming it was all being done here and that's why I was so confused. That makes MUCH more sense.

Hee. There is a board with the game, which is in the public domain and can be seen here: [link] We don't have the game physically set up anywhere though. (Well, players might do that at home to keep track of things if they want.) All the action takes place in this thread, and the moderator (omnis_audis) keeps track of the whole state of play in a spreadsheet created for the purpose.

This game seems incredibly complicated! But as I'm not playing I suppose it doesn't matter that I can't figure out what the heck you all are doing or how you are playing. Haha.

It didn't really fully makes sense to me until I played the actual physical game with ND and omnis.

We don't have the game physically set up anywhere though.

Naturally, I have it all set up with my hand out and everything. Meara should get a kick out of that when she's here on Friday.

Yes, but I am strongly thinking of setting it up as a double check type of thing. First I need a surface to put it on (dining room table is still not set up), then I have to get to the game chest and dig the game out. I was hoping to do that before the game started, but with my level of procrastination, that would have been unfair to the players, who were chomping at the bit to get started. That was the fastest character pickings I've ever seen!

Our wings are not tired

I'm doing it without a board, that is certain since I don't get home for another two weeks.

Speaking of using the board I want to play another live version of the game once I'm back in Pasadena.

Or, you know, when you finally come to visit SF.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'd love to join in a future game, but since I've never seen the board or cards or anything else, I'd probably either out myself as a Cylon or get us all killed within the first three turns.

I keep my character sheet with a pen and paper, it gets very messy very quickly.

unfortunately I did not get the card I was hoping for so for my turn I will move to the President's Office and draw a Quorum Card.

Reminder: when you activate the President's Office, after you draw a Quorum Card, you have the option either to draw a second card or play a Quorum card.

thanks, I'm not sure GM will be able to send me the first quorum card until after I disconnect the computer but I'm staying logged in as long as possible.

I recommend COs to draw a second card, more or less regardless of what the first card is. There isn't much that needs the Quorum's attention this instant.

Oh, to Admiral Tigh: if the board situation allows for it on your turn, I offer myself to receive an XO and work the Press Room. The logic is the same as when asking the President to do so - to increase our skill card resources when we're so low on them, and especially to increase our supply of Politics and Investigative Committees.

(You can move to whichever of Command, Weapons and Comms you think most useful, and perhaps Chief Tyrol can then XO you to give two activations.)
