I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

If there isn't an Apollo, that's who I will take, and if someone can let me know his card draw options I'll give my orders on those as well.

Hey, check it out Lee, they made you Captain! That's awesome! Like, in the CAG briefings, you can tell us, "Be careful out there", and we'll be all, "Aye aye, Cap'n!" Like we were a pirate ship or something. It'll be such a hoot, just like you were in charge!

Ooh! We COULD be a pirate ship! What d'you think, Lee? A ragtag crew, sailing the inky blackness of space, escaping all the stuffy rules of our old homes. Plundering planets and moons as we go. Admiral Tigh says he knows where Earth is, do you think he has it on a star map? With "X MARKS THE SPOT" written on the top? That would be AWESOME!! I think for his next birthday I'll make him a map like that. He looks like a pirate, don't you think? I think he looks like a pirate. And he loves rum, you know pirates love rum. He'd look even better if -- Oh! I know! Do you think we could convince him to get, like, a pegleg or an eyepatch?

Oh, by the way, Apollo also has a choice of starting position - you can be in Sector 5 or Sector 6. (I suggest Sector 5. It's closer to the civvies, and the raiders will go clockwise away from Sector 6, on the starting setup.)

"I heard that, Boomer!" Looks very grim before a corner of his mouth twitches in humor. "Better be careful. Pilots who blow their landings will be forced to walk the plank."

Piece of trivia: aside from the presence of Boomer instead of Starbuck, the crew for Buffistica 4 is almost exactly the same as in Buffistica 2.

Now, as I recall, Zarek and Chief Tyrol were the Cylons that game...

Thanks for the heads up Boomer. You know, despite your interest in the Chief, I've always found you strangely attractive...

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

But I don't wanna be a cylon!

How strange are we talking? Do you mean, like, furries or something? 'Cause sure, you get curious once in a while, but I think it'd just be too weird, y'know? Plus, you're still stuck on Caprica, and long-distance relationships just never work out.

But I don't wanna be a cylon!

This is no time for blubbing, Mr President! Help me restrain the fake admiral! ...Fauxdmiral? Pladmiral! He's a slippery one, whichever it is. ...Ow! Ow! Dammit, marines, you're grabbing the wrong person! Look at him, he's got to be a Cylon! He never blinks! ...Um, except for just then. Aaand again. And he's... um, not smiling anymore. Ok, maybe I was wrong. No hard feelings, right sir? Could happen to anyone. Hum.

I think I'll be in the Armoury if anyone needs me.

Ms DeathQuaker, I'm afraid your e-mail addy is not in your profile. Please be so kind as to send me an e-mail so I can get this party started.

BSG

Look at y'all. Already accusing each other of being Cylons. You aren't even aware of the pending destruction. But just you wait. I have lots of mayhem up my sleeves. Your worlds will be rocked!

(by that, I mean to say, in a sleep deprivation state, I have the file started, the card draws pulled, loyalty cards picked. I am waiting on DQ's e-mail to e-mail you your card details. BT- my physical game is still packed, does Quorum cards get picked at start? I seem to recall 2, but want to be sure before I click the "draw random quorum card" macro.

OK, off to bed for this newbie GM. Somehow, I can't help but feel like dork, as I mentally skip around the table taunting "I know who is hue-man!" Heh. I'll save the childish taunting for when the bullets start to fly.

The President starts the game with one Quorum card. I think the spreadsheet deals it automatically with the set-up.
