I played
Mario Kart Wii
last night. The wheel (Wiil?) sucks so much! It's really awkward to turn with any real control; you get much more sensitivity using just your thumb as opposed to both your damn arms.
Are the teams a new addition to the Battle Mode? I really sucked at Battle. There were so many people running about I was never able to score my own points. My team did all the work.
Also, I want to punch that squid in the face.
We've had actual humans over for Kart a couple of times now, and so far the opinion is infinity to one unanimous Wiil Sucks. The Wiimote on its own is just dandy and quite sensitive, otoh.
The FG talk is making me wistful about playing RPGs. I think I stopped playing about the time I actually got good at GM'ing.
So who all is kicking in for the FG? Me, ND, Sean...
...I'm just trying to figure my share.
I think Omnis was kicking in for a license too. I was going to keep at least one full and one lite on machines at my place so I'll take two of the shares, then I think the second lite will go to Omnis.
Okay, so how much is a GM license under this package?
BTW, the DH told me that somebody's already modded FG for the Savage Worlds system, which is a one-ruleset-to-rule-them-all thing, but pretty good. We're using it for our D&D-ish game, and I really like it.
holy cow my nephew brought the cutest nerd girl to gaming last night. Total gamer geek from her "the sun is trying to kill me" t to her engineer boots. Great gamer, great roleplayer, too. I hope we see more of her.

Hmm, that's where it gets screwy, it's a progressive discount that they give based on the number of copies you are buying.
Here's the spiel from their site if anyone wants to work it out:
Get a copy of Fantasy Grounds for your entire gaming group and take advantage of our bundle discount pricing! For each additional license you purchase, you get a cumulative 15% discount per item (up to a maximum discount of 60% per lite license and 45% per full license). The discount is automatically calculated when you add products to the basket. (Discount applies to up to 10 licenses, additional licenses available at standard pricing)
