Go to FTL, and let's jump outta here!

President Zarek has heard your pleas, and is ready to save the Fleet! All he asks is a lifesize bronze statue of himself in Galactica's Command. I have COs:

Move to FTL Control (discard Y3)
Press the big red button
Pass on interrupts

The Fleet jumps! There's a die roll for Population loss which may be modified by an SP; everyone, please pass or play.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

Sorry, I burned my only SP on the last crisis.

I used my U-verse refund to get charging station for my xbox controlers. And there was $15 left over, so I was looking for a cheap game. Somehow Dante Inferno ended up in my hands. Totally blew the budget. Doesn't bode well, as I just started playing Portal from the Orange Box last night. How did I miss that game? so simple, yet so addicting.

I have passes from everyone. Let's see if all the ships made it.

Die roll: 2. The fleet loses 1 Population (down to 10).

I have COs from the Admiral too, and you're in for a bumpy thrill-ride. Your new destination is:

Asteroid Field

You have now reached 8 Distance - one more jump and the humans win! But one ship is destroyed on entry. You lose another 1 Population. And you have the opportunity to lose another one! President Zarek's Crisis Card is:

Bomb Threat
Current Player's Choice

President Zarek, when you're ready, please post your choice.

Ouch. Losing two ships in a row hurts, but we're still in good shape.

I can help a lot if we go for the check. Since no one had any SPs for the jump, I doubt we've got any for the crisis.

ETA: Though if we fail the check, it's going to hit our two highest resources (assuming the ship costs us more population, and not a resource, anyway) and we're only a jump away from Kobol, so going for the die roll and saving cards may be the way to go.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning in the die roll direction. I'm afraid of us spending a bunch of cards fending off a crisis we can afford to fail and then getting whalloped by something that hits Food or Fuel.

BT: What's the biggest hit to each resource that's possible if a civilian ship is destroyed?

The most expensive ships are:

2 Population
1 Population, 1 Fuel
1 Population, 1 Morale

Helo, I was concerned about needing cards for a future crisis too. We're quite close to home.

I am going to go for the die roll, especially since the good Mr. Agathon usually has sage advice.

Passes on all interrupts. Let's see whether you lose another ship.

Die roll: 5. Looks like they were bluffing after all.

Finally, the jump prep track advances by 1. That concludes Zarek's turn. Admiral Adama, I'm sending you your card draw. When you're ready, please post your move and action.
