Hee. I love GTA: Vice City so much.

Have you Catan fans played Carcassone or Caylus?
I've played Carcassonne a decent amount. I like it, but I prefer Cities & Knights. I think Caylus was the game that the guy in the Paris game store was trying to sell me. A medieval French city, something like that? In theory I should love it!
I just got Ticket to Ride Europe for Christmas and enjoyed that quite a bit. I think I still might prefer Acquire or Bohanza to all of them, but those are both different sorts of games.
We really need to sort through the game cabinet at some point. It's such a huge mess that I don't even know what's in there, and we have some great games.
Warning! Like Raq, I sometimes forget about Facebook for a bit, but at this point I have enough Scrabulous games going, I *will* check in eventually.
S'okay. I can be patient. When I have to.

I am happy to facilitate this!
Last time I proposed visiting SF (before moving here), my friend's response was "Good idea, our CDs could really use re-organizing."
libkitty, I play Scrabulous too! Lately I've been getting my ass kicked all around.

settles in to lurk and learn

Scrabulous
Raq, you like kicking my ass on scrabulous. this I know.

Dude, I'm near-incoherent, and I don't even play GTA -- I'm strictly along for the ride on that one. S is taking the day off to clean for a GTA party, for the benefit of people who I'm pretty sure won't even notice.
(Me? I'll be happy for pizza and beer. And, of course, OMG NEW GTA.)
(P-C, if you like Vice City, you have to check out San Andreas. It's like ten times more game.)
I don't know if I can handle that much more game!!
Woo, gaming thread.
Sadly, I don't get to do much of it these days, between the kid and the new house and everything. Bought Halo 3 the day after it came out and I finally had a chance to sit down and play through it with my dad when we went up to visit my parents two weeks ago. My cousin lended Assassin's Creed to me, which looks absolutely awesome, but I just haven't had time to play it.
I'm toying with the idea of maybe trying to get a D&D 4th Ed game going once it comes out. As much as a lot of the changes bother my nitpicky, modifiers-for-everything, encumberance-tracking, staying-up-until-the-wee-hours-of-the-morning-designing-bad-guys DMing ways, the plug-and-play, streamlined mechanics look like they might make it possible for me to actually run a game in between work, family time and getting things done around the house. We'll have to see.
I just wish my friend who was running a Mage game would get some free time again himself so we can finish off the chronicle. He said we only had 2-3 sessions left before we had to take a hiatus and I hate having a game I'm playing in (or running, for that matter) die that close to the end.
