Our wings are not tired

I'm not playing any cards into this one. I think we can afford the Morale hit and I'd like to save cards for a more critical check.

I have COs from the remaining players:

Destiny: 2 cards
Helo: no cards
Zarek: 3 cards
Adama: no cards
Boomer: 1 card
Apollo: 2 cards

Results:

Green 1
Green 1
Green 2
Purple 1
Purple 3
Blue 3
Yellow 1
Red 2

As Apollo played an SR-3 on this check, Blue also counts positive. Therefore, we have:

Tally: 11 - 3 = 8. Pass - no effect.

The two basestars each launch 3 raiders.

That concludes Apollo's turn. Helo, I'm sending you your card draw. When you're ready, plesae post your move and action.

Um. Holy frak! 10 raiders and 2 Basestars! That's a busy sector. So? Anyone else think a nuke is in order? Wow, we have had a lot of attacks this game.

You certainly have - you've faced seven of the ten attack cards in the game so far. And yet you haven't lost a single civvie yet. You haven't even lost any vipers.

Yeah, it might be time to use the second nuke, especially if we can modify the roll.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

I'd love to pull the same trick we did last time with the nuke, with the SP and my re-roll ability, but I don't have an XO this time around.

So, I can take one shot at a basestar, launch myself in a viper or try to jump us out of here with a SP and my re-roll ability at the risk of 3 population. Thoughts?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I vote for option 1 unless we're doing weighted voting in which case I put shooting at the base star first, jumping early second and launching youself in a viper 3rd.

If no XO is available, I think firing from weapons on a basestar is the best bet at this time. No raiders are in direct conflict with colonials at this time. We should get someone to communications, so we can start moving around to dance away raiders when they activate. But first things first right now, get rid of the basestars! I'm afraid I can *not* help with an SP.

Okay, BS consensus is to shoot a basestar. So:

Move: None Action: Fire on one of the basestars in sector 2.

I will pass on playing my SP, but I will use my re-roll ability on a miss.
