I'm going to go with the -1 food. Apollo doesn't have that many cards, looks like, and I reckon he'll want to hold on to what piloting cards he has to fight off those raiders all over the place.

I agree that the food hit is a better choice, if only for the fact Apollo has to discard randomly, so he can't just dump his weak cards.
