amych, there was no jumping, just informing. Don't sweat it.

I've had a migraine today. Moving makes it worse but playing GTA doesn't. Hilarity ensues.

I'm actually going to have to go back to a save from last night. There seems to be something weird happening with my current save which isn't allowing me to complete a side mission. Humph.

Wow. We got all the way to 500+ messages before the thread finally died down for a couple of days. Of course, the last few days have been quite busy, but I've actually managed to squeeze some gaming of both the RPG and computer variety into that time. It's late tonight, but maybe I'll post a little about both tomorrow.

Our wings are not tired

I actually have found a little time to play a bit of Guitar Hero III and Rock Band this week, it's been really nice.

Yeah, Drew and I had a pretty good Rock Band session the other day. He was on guitar and I was on bass. The only problem for me was that my hand was already starting to cramp by the time I stepped up from Easy to Medium. And one of the first songs we did after I bumped my difficulty level was Tom Sawyer.

And just now, I found myself wondering if they make you do rolls and paradiddles on the higher drum difficulty levels.

I need to go back to playing the drums on Rock Band to get myself better at them. I was making the step up to hard on GHIII earlier today and the hard on GHIII seems to be much more difficult than the hard on most Rock Band guitar stuff.

Yes.

Oddly enough, one of the hardest drum parts is on Call Me, because the pattern never stays the same. FWIW.

hard on GHIII seems to be much more difficult than the hard on most Rock Band guitar stuff.

Totally. Medium on GHIII is somewhere between Medium and Hard on Rock Band, and Hard on GH is between Hard and Expert on RB.

Is there a way to order the songs on GH3 by inherent difficulty? Because I can play about half of the songs on Rock Band on Expert, and about 90% on Hard, but on GHIII sometimes Hard is a piece of cake, other times it kills me dead.

That Aerosmith song on GHIII, for example. I don't think I hit a single note before bombing out.

I blame the controller.

Hey Joe. No, I haven't really had time to play, but I think it's the way to go. A little bit this week, and maybe all next week, I'll have some damned free time to study a little XML scripting, and see if I can't figure out how to hammer FG into Serenity or Shadowrun shape.

It's been a little frustrating not being able to even get started trying to tweak it, but we'll make it happen in the next few weeks. We miss gaming with you, dammit.
