"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Sadly, this is true.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Sadly, this is true.

Video games would take up time that I could spend playing with clothes or reading trashy vampire novels! A goth girl has to have her priorities!

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

See, if they came up with a goth MMORPG, you might not ever get her off the computer! Virtual clothing design, no sewing needed!

Pfffft. But then *I* wouldn't have the clothes in real life, and I would get cranky. What good are pretend pixel clothes?

not your mom's socks.

unless you can design the clothes in the game, and have the option to have them delivered in real-time?

See, now THAT is a brilliant idea.

not your mom's socks.

... was building off of something Raq said a bit ago, I think - but yeah. It would be sweet.

"The Head Crusher likes visa cards." The man smiles. "He slathers peanut butter on them and eats them." He shakes his head. "Weird, but then, most everything is weird out here -- present company excepted, of course."

The Nintendo developers keep thinking that having Mario save the princess is an original idea.

Sorry, Nintendo, but your princess is in another castle.

Actually, the Wii is the first Nintendo system I've owned. The Virtual Console has let me play all the games I wish I'd had, as Amych can attest.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And all the games your cousins and neighbors and roommates had...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I love board games, but have zero interest in video games.

It is in the nature of nerdhood to demand prioritisation of one's nerd pastimes.

For myself, while I'm pretty sure I have a strong inclination towards video games, RSI problems and non-video gaming partners have seen me limit any significant involvement. I get in a game of Age of Empires II occasionally, and that's about it.

Instead I geek out on D&D and board games (and card games). Wallybee enjoys the board games too, so that works out nicely.
