What are the odds again for Galactica hitting raiders & heavy raiders? With that many out there, fixing one viper and not activating leaves us in danger that much longer.

1. Galactica has the same odds of hitting as a viper does, i.e. it hits a raider on a 3+, and a heavy raider on a 7+. If Starbuck chooses to go to Weapons Control, she can fire at 1 raider or heavy raider.

2. Using a Repair action on damaged vipers repairs two of them, not just one.

I move to weapons control and fire on the raiders.

Starbuck is firing at a raider in Sector 1. We'll pause for SP interrupts. Everyone, let me know if you pass or play.

Wait. I only fire at ONE raider, not the group of them?

Hmm, hold on a second....

Each activation of Weapons Control allows you to fire at one Cylon ship (raider, heavy raider or basestar).

Nothing's happened with this action yet, so I'll put it on hold until you confirm or choose another action.

Edit: ok, that's confirmation. We're still calling for SP interrupts.

Sean, with you there, Tigh could XO you, thus allowing you two shots. If you repair, the vipers can't be put into action until someone goes to command and activates them. By weapons, you have a good shot at killing one your turn, and TWO more on Petes turn, which is next.

For completeness, if Starbuck repaired vipers, they could be activated either by someone going to Command, or by Starbuck activating the Hangar Deck to launch in one of them (which also allows her another action). If XO'd, she would then get yet another action, as the launch doesn't count as a move.

No bold header here. Not game talk, but talk about the game.

Here's the issue, I am on the precipice of CRAZY work hours, starting with this weekend, and going until... well, I don't know. If all goes well, things will be calm by Wednesday or Thursday. If not, things will be chaotic until the 30th. If calm, I could be very bored, and WANTING distractions. If chaotic, no clue when I could log in. The question, do we want a substitute player to fill in for me? I'm not wanting to leave the game, but I'm not wanting to cause undue delays in the game. So, my fellow players, tell me what you think.
