oh, one other note: secrecy rules preclude giving any information about cards you've played into skill checks, including the number of negatives (whether or not it's accurate). Apollo, could you edit your post? Ta ever so.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Gosh, this is exciting.

Isn't it just! And even more fraught than last game, as should be.

I'm not even following (lurking) that closely on this one and I still had a dream that it turned out I was the Cylon at the bit where the next set of loyalty cards gets dealt. And I'm not even playing! Wouldn't that be a shocking plot turn?

I continue to be very surprised by events.

I choose Desolate Moon.

Heads up, we are down to 2 fuel. There are a few fuel boosting cards, so keep an eye out for them. More scouting missions are in order.

And Zarek, if you can XO me, it'll probably be more beneficial to you than simply attempting to escape the Brig yourself.

But! I have COs from Chief Tyrol: Play B1, B2, B3, B4.

Zarek, there is a difference between want and ability. I want you out of the brig, but right now, my ability to help with that is not there.

ION. Brutes. My favorite brute made it to the fifth round in tonights tournament. Not that spectacular. Look at the player she was up against: [link] Level 256! after only 188 victories! 98953 pupils! And like every weapon and skill available! Dude. It SCREAMS hack to me. Whatcha gonna do? Here is the very brief fight: [link]

Sadly, I already have planned that the sleeper Cylon is former Baywatch babe Yasmin Bleeth. We can use you next season though.

In any case, Pradmiral Saul "Speedfreex" Tigh has powered you into the Sleeper Phase. Both Fuel and Population are in the red, but Morale remains very high. I'm guessing because the Pradmiral hasn't told them about the Fuel situation. And he's telling them all that the missing ships are all "just on the other side of Galactica. They're not answering their comms? Huh, that's weird, I can reach them. They tell me they're doing fine. They asked after you, I told them you were just on the other side of Galactica".

Since you have resources in the red, the Sympathiser is sent to the Brig but stays on the human side. I'm sending everyone a new Loyalty card. If you get the Sympathiser, plese report immediately to the Brig for re-education.

Does not compute...err, I mean, that's odd.

I choose Desolate Moon.

Because going with the in the middle of nowhere destination worked out so well last time.

Just to keep things moving along, I've sent out the new Loyalty cards. I regret to inform you that one of the Fleet has been found to have Cylon sympathies. In hindsight it's obvious, I suppose. An excerpt from Helo's diary from Caprica:

"All I want is an incredibly attractive woman who will stand by me in a fire fight and a desperate struggle for survival, and who desperately wants to have my baby. And it'd be a bonus if she had a twin sister who felt the same way. ...But where could I possibly find a woman like that?"

Ohh, Officer Agathon. I must ask you to report immediately to the Brig to discuss your taste in women, and possibly record a cover version of the Supremes' "Love Child".

Hee. As the Fleet breathes a sigh of relief after jumping, Galactica turns its attention to a baffling rash of graffiti turning up throughout the ship. The leadership is reportedly at a loss as to what to make of the messages proclaiming "THE QUORUM SUPPORTS ME IN EMAIL".
