I see this as our equivalent of BSG's half-seasons with the big-ass wait between the two halves.

Writers strike?

In non-bsg talk, we played some Beatles Rockband this weekend. When our wrists/arms/fingers got tired, switched to Halo 3. I had to sand bag a bit. Seems I'm better than some at Halo, and there is no fun completely dominating the game. But those are the only 2 xbox games I have that can play more than 2 on the same machine. Went to Gamestop. Asked if they knew of any, and they didn't. Digging in used bin we came across "Baja edge of control" and "LOTR Conquest" that allow for 4 players. So we got them, and will give a try. Anyone know of any others that are good, and inexpensive?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is up to four players and pretty fun. It's a Diablo-esque game only with superheroes and has been out long enough it's likely in the bargain bin by now.

Can't think of any other 3+ player games I've played off the top of my head. I'm sure there's assorted FPSes that let you do split-screen multiplayer.

The worst part is BT is going to charge us full season price for the DVDs of each half.

move out and draw fire

This is my big complaint with consoles. I loved LAN parties. Sometimes we'd have 10-12 people in our house, all in the same game.

Now to do that you all have to have the same console, whatever premium anal-rape membership lets you play online, and headsets. And you can't split into teams.

We played more Beatles Rock Band ourselves. I love love love my George Harrison guitar. I'd hit a limit of capability with the Rock Band guitar, so now the frustration of a poor tool is gone, and I can focus on my technique.

It would appear that if you play songs in Quickplay, the score doesn't overwrite the score you got on that song in Story. At least it didn't replace our star counts.

In My Brute news, anyone who feels like getting their ass handed to them by Maleficum should step right up.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Uhm...

Raq, did you mis-spell that because I thought that Brute of yours was a higher level than 5. Scola, you might have to go another round...

Anything for a weird life.

Yeah, it's Malificum, two I's. Looks kind of hobbit-y and has a cute and fuzzy widdle pet BEAR.

Yeah level 14. That's more of what I expected. My best brute - in terms of win/loss ratio is only level 10, but he gave it a good shot... [link]

Three other brutes of varying levels did so-so. My best defensive Brute, Ill Omen fared better... [link]

Kinda makes you think you won the right to take the bear by his leash and make him yours. Naming George is optional. Alas, My Brute doesn't work that way.
