BT needs a thrashing.
Jeezus, Apollo is the only thing standing between 3 colony ships and 9 raiders and a basestar!
Yeah, I think we're likely to lose a lot of population by the time we jump. A lot. Having all our resources above half by the Cylon reveal hase seems rather unlikely now.

And yet, you're the ones with your pants around your collective ankles. Funny how things work out, isn't it? Not that this is in any way karmic payback for you blowing up
all my frikkin' basestars,
of course.
I'm watching a nature special on the Amazon. Did you know that in the wet season, the floodwater covers a forest area the size of England? Can be 10 metres deep. The animals of the forest floor head for the treetops before it happens, warned by the rising humidity and whatnot.
Now the giant otters are on the move. Strangely enough, they don't seem to be under Cylon attack. You guys must be special.

Helo to Galactica: Not yet we aren't! I see debris from one mothership that looks like it was nuked over there, and the Chief finished off this second one right in front of me. We can do this! We still have one more nuke. And we got some quality people. We need to get someone in weapons to be XO'd for double shots, so we can send Chief to the Hangar to fix some vipers! We aren't dead yet people, so don't act like it! Look alive because we ARE alive!!!!
Look alive because we ARE alive!!!!
Plus, it takes all the fun out of it for the Cylons if you just go limp. It's like pythons, you need to jiggle the rat a bit to get them to bite.
Now we have wandering capybaras crossing a desert (dry season in the grassland) in search of a waterhole. They too are not under attack from Cylons. Who'da thunk it?
Not Helo, because he's trying to keep morale up as a good leader should, even if he isn't in command.
Holy Frak !!!
NINE?!? Raiders?!! PLUS a basestar!?! Thank the Gods Tigh didn't use that 2nd nuke yet!

All I need is 3 more and I can make a Fendahl.
In other news, I bought the BSG Pegasus expansion yesterday. Airlocks ahoy! It's a definite step up in complexity. I wouldn't try running this one online unless all participants had a copy.

jeebus I don't remember so many base stars last timwe we played. Maybe this means we've already gotten all the base star cards in the crisis deck.

That's largely because you had Boomer and Roslin (for the first half at least) burying them. Their collective efforts buried no less than six Cylon attacks between them.
There are 10 Cylon attack cards in the Crisis deck, out of a total of 70. It's not that uncommon to face three of them in one jump cycle at some point in the game, though you're a bit unlucky to have to deal with them before you get even one jump icon.

I've got a couple of Maximum Firepowers. Some good rolls could cut the number of Raiders in my sector substantially if someone wants to XO me.

Your best shot is Starbuck. If the raiders get activated this turn, I'm pretty certain you're going to get nailed by one of them, so Sean's your best chance of firing first. Also, I have a nuke to fire.
