My first action is to nuke the basestar in Sector 3. As BT has said, if anyone has an SP to play on this roll, we have a 50% chance of destroying the 3 raiders with it.
Obviously I have to wait to perform my second action, but I have a question. The rules say RS Vipers are usually activated from Command, so a player can't just activate one as an action (with Command giving the superior action of activating two)?

No, that wording just allows for special circumstances like Apollo's CAG ability. You can pretty much assume that if you want to activate RSVs, you'll need to go to Command.
Any SP interrupts for the nuke?

Okay, there's no value in using the other nuke, that basestar will be destroyed if Galactica hits it one more time.
I'll play a P2 - Launch Scout. Hopefully I can ensure our next Crisis won't be more Cylons turning up.

What sort of world is it where I'm forced to commend the Pradmiral for both his wisdom in using the Bomb at this particular juncture, as well as sending out a scout?
