that is a good point. But I think it's a matter of timing. If you don't fix the viper right now, it won't cause damage. But the mother ship can inflict MAJOR damage. Either firing on us, or spitting out more raiders.

Laga, you're in the right place at the right time. The Basestar needs to be destroyed first. Except in unusual situations, the basestar ALWAYS needs to be destroyed first. It automatically generates more raiders if we clear all the raiders on the board.
The RSVs can wait until next turn to repair, and since you can take an extra action when you repair, you may find you repair 2, and can instantly repair another 2.
