Yes, they are, the Gene Stealers are green plastic and the Marines are orange plastic. But they could probably be painted, especially, oh, by someone who was good at painting.

Unfortunately that's not me. I was good at painting minis but my eyestrain is related to focal-distance and the last time I did 90 minutes of touch-up work on a mini, I discovered my eyes wouldn't focus beyond a couple of feet for 20 or so minutes afterward. That was the last mini I will ever paint.
