Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

I am completely rational, and will kill any man, woman or treefrog that says otherwise.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

In the words of Niles Crane, "Don't you dare call me irrational! You know that makes me crazy!"

move out and draw fire

There's rational, and there's gamer, and then there's rational gamer.

2 out of 3 is okay.

I would join in a game of Republic of Rome. I would however caution that my experience running BSG suggests it's harder (and certainly more work for the coordinator) to manage a forum game where players don't own the game themselves.

Further news: Apparently Valley Games is reprinting Republic of Rome. [link] It has, however, experienced delays (I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you, that a board game publication might experience delays), currently they estimate maybe November. Sean, might I suggest that we wait until it's been reprinted to kick off a game? That way people who do want to buy it can do so.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I'd love to play in a game of BSG (I was happy everytime I saw new posts in this thread.) but I sadly don't own the game even though I'd really like to after following the game here. As omnis so aptly put it: short on cash, long on Visa.

Of the five players who started Season 1, I think three didn't own the game. (Though I think at least two of them bought a copy as the game progressed.) So it's not necessarily fatal to participating, but it certainly would make things easier if you have access to a copy.

I have my copy of BSG.

I'll be over here, reading.

So here's the plan. I'm offering to run Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica, starting on September 13 my time, which also happens to be my 40th birthday. t blows tiny horn The player list is currently:

omnis_audis
StuntHusband
Sean K
Pete

There's room for up to two more players. If you want to sign on, let me know.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Why do I play Catan on Live? Idiots abound! Dude soldiers me instead of 1st place dude. Then trades with him so he can win. Ugg.
