Awwwwwww man! See, this is why I wanted a charcter with low chance of power. Sorry humans, I failed you.

o_a don't say that - I rarely gloat about games, and I would NEVER gloat about this one. It was a tough, delicate, intricate dance to reach that endgame - and the endgame was no forgone conclusion.

Humans have such a gigantic advantage in large card draws AND the potential to play numbers of cards; Cylons only get to play 1 card in a challenge, and draw few cards.

I THOUGHT we were going to win, but I was not ASSURED of it.

You guys played a hard, hard game. I enjoyed every second of it - including the reversals. In fact, I got in a small amount of trouble for telling my co-workers about the previous 24 hours' worth of activities - "Alex, less talk about the Buffistas, more work please!"

:)

move out and draw fire

Thank you, billytea, for both running the game and for giving the ending a little dramatic flair.

By all rights, the cylons should've won a long time ago. Omnis, you did a yeoman's work in getting us as close to victory as we came. Baltar and Boomer both, actually; you guys gutted it out and made them work for it.

Oh don't misunderstand, I had a blast!! And there were about 3 places I thought we were goners! There was a couple rounds I thought I was running around the ship twisting every dial like Dr Who, flying solo. The XO's kept me busy. It being my first go at this game, I wasn't sure what the heck to do. It was a thrill!!!

And yes, billytea, you ROCKED!!! Thank you for everything!! And big high-5's to my fellow players. It was a great match. Big kudos to Sean, for un-convincing me he was a cylon. I'm still kicking myself for that! And for Alex stepping in, and rocking!

I wanna do this again RIGHT NOW.

I have 3 separate groups of friends that want to play face-to-face RIGHT NOW.

So - when's the next round start?

Great dramatic summary, BT.

Good game all.

Let me be the first to welcome our new Toaster Oven Masters.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

As someone almost entirely outside this kind of gaming culture, that was enormously fun to watch.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, totally enjoyed it. It was a serious blast from the outside.

And it's fun to have this thread so active.
