They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I need recommendations for a game: has to be playable by adults and smart teens. Limited reliance on luck. Can't take hours to play or be hard to learn.

A friend of Wallybee's has a teenager who sometimes comes over to play games. Some of the games we've played that have gone over well include:

Bohnanza (though you really need at least 4 players)
Traders of Genoa
Race for the Galaxy
Power Grid
Ingenious
Ticket to Ride

Of those, I would recommend Traders of Genoa first (I think it's now just called Genoa). The negotiation aspect can help keep everyone involved, and if they enjoy Settlers I figure they'll enjoy that aspect. I would also recommend Taj Mahal.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

(If in response to this you feel the need to spoil seasons 4.5 and 5...dont. )

That would be quite an achievement given that there wasn't a season 5.

I have orders in from everyone. Play is:

Destiny: 2 cards
Boomer: 1 card
Adama: 1 card
Roslin: 1 card
Baltar: 1 card
Apollo: No cards

Result:

Purple 2
Red 2
Blue 2
Yellow 3
Yellow 3
Green 3

Tally: 6 - 9 = -3. Fail! -1 Population, and damage 2 vipers in reserves. The Fleet is now down to 1 Population!

That concludes Apollo's turn. Boomer, I'm sending you your card draw. When you're ready, please post your move and action.

I may have to get this game so I know what the fuck you people are talking about.

You really may. And then you may have to join in Season 2.

OK humans, I'm debating between debrigging Adama so we can get more crisis cards to advance the jump track.

OR.

fix the Weapons Center so we can fire on enemies when they appear.

What do you two think? Or option C that you want to suggest? Or should I try to debrig the Doc, and Adama xo's me to repair? Assuming he can do that? Or screw repairs, and just debrig everyone?

We are almost home. We are also almost without population.

If it helps at all, since you don't draw Green there's nothing you can do that would debrig Adama (or Baltar) anyway.

OMG, in brute news. Can you hack Brute to spice up your stats? Ran into a bloke with 384 hitpoints at level 11!! With my Beast Mistress, I figured why not. [link]

But doesn't Purple help??? I draw two of those.
