In MyBrute news, I got a brute who snagged a wolf at level 1! Then I took him into one of the tournaments. Not surprisingly, he didn't get far but in the first round he - at level 3 - took down a level 14.

If you have a low-value Purple card, you could Scout instead, but yes, an escape attampt is your more substantive option.
