Online. The MMO run by Turbine. I helped alpha/beta test it, and have a permanent lifetime account (like a good Tolkien geek does).

I and my co-workers have a guild (called a "Kinship") that's slowly working our way up to explore Moria. When we see the Balrog (actually, a shadow of the Balrog), I expect the squee to be audible the world over.

OK, enough paralysis by analysis...if we stay, we're likely to lose population too, because at some point billytea will roll a hit.
I XO Boomer to move to FTL and jump the ship. I ask that she play a SP for the die roll, and I hope and pray we don't lose population, and get a good destination draw.
AHAHAHAHA (I'm still having near-hysterical laughing jags) AHAHAHAHA
So. EA is releasing (has released?) a video game "based" on Dante's Inferno. The PR stunt at ComiCon was "Sin to Win".

Oh. Oh
my.
I'm still trying to figure out how the whole IDEA of "booth babes" isn't objectifying, so I'm a little confused as to why the promo was so extra horrible...
Because the whole industry collectively agreed NOT to use booth babes anymore...several years ago. EA's decision to base an entire marketing campaign around semi-dirty-pictures featuring booth babes was widely derided (in game press and by industry insiders) as backsliding of the worst sort.

I will play the interrupt, to help the fleet! May the Gods be with us.

Ah! I did not know that. Then extra house points to GayGamer Guy for refusing the money (original house points were for funny entry).
No. Oh, no no no.
Twilight MMO?
REALLY?
No. Oh please let this be vaporware forever.
Oh come on, SH, you know you want a Twilight tattoo: [link]
Wretched, wretched things. I'll stick to my supremely geeky tattoos: the Ring Inscription (in tengwar, in red, butofcourse)...the symbol from Gary Numan's "Exile" album cover...and the jumpgate cross of the Eskatonics in the Fading Suns RPG.
Twilight. Blah.
