Omnis is on the Fraggin' List. No change there.
Just don't make me ride with you in GTA. Sounds like I drive faster than you IRL, and I'm told I drive like grannies! (speed limit, cuz I get REALLY good mileage, and @ $4/gallon... frack that!)
So Pete, since you drive like a Bitch... if you look in the rear view mirror, do you look adorable??
(I am SOOOO toast next time I play Halo with him)
He's gonna figure out a way to frag you in Backgammon.
:: rethinks that "oo, lets visit folks in the Pac NW" in case Pete discovers I'm in the region ::
Does Geocaching count as a game? More of a hobby... dunno. However, it's spin off, Waymarking (which is finding landmarks rather then little treasures) has a "666 sightings" category. I find that HILARIOUS!
OK, have just spent approx. 12 hours playing GTA4.
It's the closest thing to the metaverse.
Unfortunately, Mal is an addict too. Fortunately, he's learning Russian from it. Unfortunately, that includes "pizdets."
serial while I wait for coffee.
I can say that ending song got into my head.
The end song for Portal is a free download for Rock Band. It's constantly stuck in my head. I would love to play Portal, but...GTA4.
This is the first GTA we've had a console for. All my previous years of bitching about the crappy port to PC? Especially while doing things like flying a remote control helicopter? All totally valid. I hate the console controller for FPS, but it's so far a lot better for GTA.
Although I haven't done anything really hard yet, just drive around and figure out how to hit people with baseball bats.
The ability to flood a car and have to restart it is clever but getting annoying. NPCs are way better. Animation and graphics are freaking awesome. Love the music, and there's so much of it! And apparently more on the internet, no one knows how much.
"America's Next Top Hooker" is my favorite ad so far, and I love the meta of "We're all avatars, honey."
Holy crap the Facebook backgammon app is fugly. It kind of hurts my eyes.
(There are 2 other backgammon apps I can see, but on one of them all the reviews say "This app doesn't work!" and the other uses Java and won't load on my work PC - same problem as Yahoo games. So I'm stuck with the ugly one until someone writes something better. Oh well!)
[edit: Well, none of the other backgammon apps seem to work, at least not on my work PC. Feh!]
Omnis, I think you should join me in a spot of Halo. Bring friends. You'll need them.

Golly, I have to work (first time I'm happy about that phrase!)
Seriously tho, I might be home 10ish. I could flip on the xbox to give you some glee in kicking my ass. Or will GTA be too absorbing?
GTA will be too absorbing. We should try to get a few people together because Halo just doesn't work well 1 v 1.
In GTA, after 1 mission where I was parked off the road near a car wash, this shitty little white car pulled in and proceeded to drive circles around me. Sure enough, the person driving it turned out to be a joyrider.
I beat him up.
