A surprise announcement and massive game-changing news for musicians: developers Harmonix have just announced The Rock Band Network, a new initiative to let home users and indie bands create and sell their own Rock Band tracks through the game itself, in partnership with Microsoft's XNA Creators Club. The program is due to launch in closed beta by the end of the month. >[link]

I have some COs from Admiral Apollo, but also a problem. Due to work commitments, Mr McNasty is going to have to drop out of the game. He's got orders in for this turn, which gives us some time; but while we run through his orders, I'm putting out a call for a replacement Apollo. Is there anyone who's been watching the game who'd like to give it a try? You get a hand of Skill Cards, the Admiralcy and a full suite of Daddy issues. It helps if you have a copy of the game, but it's not essential.
Anyone who's interested, please let us know in-thread.
Anyway, Apollo's orders:
Card Draw: draw 2 Green cards (as well as 1 Purple and 2 Red)
Move: to Administration on Colonial One (discard Red 1)
Action: seek the Presidency
Admiral Apollo has called elections. This is a skill check (5 YG). We will pause to see if anyone wants to play interrupts (Investigative Committee and Scientific Research). While we're doing so, if anyone wants to take over as CAG, Admiral and possibly President, put your name forward.

I'm really bummed to have to lose Random. I've only ever gamed with him online, and each and every time has been some excellent gaming, and each and every time has been preciously short.

Good to have you on board, Apollo II (Apollo 11?). I'll send you details of your hand. As I noted, the first Apollo proposed to attempt to remove the Presidency from Ms Roslin. If you're ok with that action, we're currently pausing for any interrupts.
