On the other hand, if I, didn't get penalized for randomly hitting my bass player, I'd be a Rock Band drumming god.
But otherwise, how is Guitar Hero: World Tour? Raq and I started with GHIII, but moved to Rock Band and have stayed with that franchise ever since. We've invested so much in DLC that I doubt we'll ever switch, but there are a few things wrong with RB2 (especially with how little control you have have over your own playlist on tour).

So far, I only have a few of the Guitar Hero games. None of the full band things. Although, playing the Beatles catalog might get me to fork out some cash.

I suspect this will be the case, as I think the Beatles game itself will ship with about 40 songs, and the rest of the catalog will be released in dribs and drabs as DLC.

how is Guitar Hero: World Tour?
I love it. And it does have DLC. We've even got a couple of Raconteurs songs. On the ther hand- we just bought Smash Hits and I'm unimpressed by it. Pretty crappy song selection, imo.
