It looks like I can Airlift to Mumbai, clear out the zombies, and get to Bangkok to build a station. What do you guys think?
Much as I hate to use up airlift, that clears out a hot spot and gets us to a black cure even before blue, which is amazing. The one flaw is that will make SF blow and bring Chicago to the brink before I can airlift myself somewhere. You could do a similar plan to clear SF and build in Osaka, and then I could cure blue and take care of Mumbai on my turn (since we know that the earliest Mumbai will get hit is after my turn). Osaka is not the most convenient place for a station, but I could also build in Mumbai on my turn.

Oooooh, I missed that about SF. Yeah, let's go with the Osaka plan then, Mumbai won't get hit for at least one more turn, and it's not set up to do a chain reaction.
Anyone else got thoughts?

From San Francisco you could also build the station in Manila or Hong Kong. Hong Kong would get my vote.

The medic hitches a ride on a C-17 Globemaster to San Francisco where he cures all the disease. Then he hitches a ride on a cargo ship to Tokyo and takes one of those awesome Japanese trains to Osaka where he knows a guy who can arrange for a research station overnight as long as you don't ask any questions.
Then he draws Sydney (Red) and Buenos Aires (Yellow). Meanwhile, the Blue Fever spreads in Chicago getting serious, but not critical. However, things become critical in Algiers where Zombies are poised to overrun the city.
